Procedures شفط دهون الفخذ
Loose skin and residual fatty tissue in the upper and inner thigh region is common after weight loss. Doctor Tarek offers several approaches to address this problem. It is generally recommended that the patient's weight be relatively stable before undergoing this surgery.
Thigh Lift Summary
How is the procedure performed?
This procedure is performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia (spinal anesthesia). First, the surgeon performs liposuction in the area to improve the shape of the thigh, then removes the excess skin through an incision starting at the groin area (the line between the pelvis and thigh). The incision extends to the inner thigh and may reach the knee, depending on the degree of sagging. The length of the incision varies based on the amount of sagging. Absorbable sutures are used for this procedure.
In cases where liposuction is performed, Dr. Tarek Copty leaves one hidden opening in each thigh for drainage. This allows the fluids (a specially formulated fluid known as "swelling fluid" is injected before liposuction to prevent bleeding during the surgery) to drain, which helps speed up the healing process after the surgery. These drainage holes stop draining after about 24 hours.
Fat Transfer & Cellulite
The fat removed during the liposuction procedure can be used for fat transfer to the buttocks, as the fat in the thighs is often of very high quality for reinjection. This helps improve the appearance of the lower half of the body. This procedure also greatly improves the appearance of cellulite, though it may not completely eliminate it, especially in women.
